Affected by extreme poverty, HIV/AIDS, along with the lack of opportunities for self-improvement, hundreds of orphan children leave their villages and travel to Dar, Arusha, Moshi and other cities of Tanzania in search of new lives, new beginnings, hope, and other positive possibilities.

In the summer of 2008 Kelly Steele & Ruth Taylor both from Greenisland Carrickfergus, will be heading to Tanzania with Global Volunteers (a worldwide charity).

Their aim is to assist & work with children less fortunate than our own in Orphanage's creating a positive & lasting difference.

Following a postponement to Sunday 27th. January due to unforeseen circumstances, the fund raising abseil took place in good conditions.

An enjoyable day was had by all including our staff, and we experienced a good turn out. All the staff at Elements would like to take this opportunity to wish Kelly and Ruth the very best in their venture.
